TYPE OF COURSES

3 OR 6 MONTH

Duration: Typically around 3 to 6 months.
Target Audience: Beginners or individuals with limited experience in music and film.
Curriculum: Covers foundational concepts and skills in both music and film, such as basic music theory, instrument proficiency (if applicable), introduction to filmmaking techniques, and basic video editing.
Teaching Methodology: Incorporates a mix of theoretical instruction, practical exercises, hands-on projects, and workshops to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamentals.
Outcome: Upon completion, students should have a basic understanding of music and film principles and be equipped with essential skills to pursue further study or entry-level positions in the industry.

1 YEAR OR 18 MONTH DEPLOMA

Duration: Typically around 1 year to 18 month.
Target Audience: Students who have completed the Basic course or have equivalent experience in music and film.
Curriculum: Expands upon the foundational knowledge gained in the Basic course, diving deeper into advanced topics in music composition, sound design, cinematography, screenwriting, film production, and post-production techniques.
Teaching Methodology: Utilizes a combination of lectures, seminars, practical projects, collaborative exercises, and mentorship to help students refine their skills and develop a deeper understanding of music and film production processes.
Outcome: Graduates should have advanced skills and knowledge in music and film production, preparing them for mid-level positions in the industry or further specialization.

2 YEARS OR 3 YEARS

Duration: Can vary depending on the depth and complexity of the subject matter, typically 2 years or more.
Target Audience: Individuals seeking comprehensive expertise and professional credentials in music and film, as well as experienced professionals looking to advance their careers.
Curriculum: Offers an intensive and specialized curriculum tailored to specific areas of interest within music and film, such as advanced music composition, film directing, producing, editing, or specialization in a particular genre or niche.
Teaching Methodology: Includes advanced coursework, practical training, industry internships, masterclasses, and mentorship from industry professionals to help students develop advanced skills, build a professional portfolio, and network within the industry.
Outcome: Graduates should emerge as highly skilled professionals with the expertise and industry connections necessary to pursue successful careers as musicians, filmmakers, or multimedia professionals.

COURSE Fees

DMFA Implements a sliding scale fee structure based on students' financial means. This allows students to self-assess their ability to pay and select a fee within a specified range that aligns with their financial situation.

We offer need-based financial aid or scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need. This can be based on factors such as household income, family size, or extenuating circumstances that may affect the student's ability to pay.
We addition to need-based aid, consider offering merit-based scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional talent, academic achievement, or potential in music and film.
We encourage students to register early by offering discounts or incentives for those who enroll in courses ahead of time. This not only helps with course planning but also rewards proactive students with lower fees.
DMFA provide flexible payment plans that allow students to spread out the cost of tuition over multiple installments. This can make the financial burden more manageable for students who may not be able to afford the full fee upfront.
We consider waiving certain fees, such as application fees or course material fees, for students who demonstrate financial need or meet specific eligibility criteria.
DMFA Forge partnerships with "Sanskar Foundation" that is a community organizations, nonprofits, that provide financial assistance or support to students from underserved communities.

Divine Music and Film Academy (DMFA) offers two types of certifications for its courses:

Prachin Kala Kendra Certification: This certification is recognized and holds value all over India. Prachin Kala Kendra is a renowned institution for Indian classical arts, ensuring that the certification is respected and valued in the field of music and dance.
DMFA Certification: In addition to the Prachin Kala Kendra certification, DMFA also provides its own certification. This certificate is also valid and holds recognition across India, further validating the skills and training received at the academy.

Together, these certifications not only endorse the student's proficiency and learning but also enhance their career opportunities in the field of Indian classical arts.
