Introduction

Our Guitar Course is designed to cater to students of all skill levels, from beginners who are picking up a guitar for the first time to advanced players looking to refine their technique and expand their musical repertoire. This course offers comprehensive instruction in both acoustic and electric guitar playing, covering a wide range of musical genres and styles.
The Academy’s Guitar Course provides Musician with intensive training in performance, modern on- Studio Recording techniques, and supporting Guitar classes, which contribute to the creation of a Band performance

Unlike other Music School, the emphasis at the Bangalore Film Academy is on providing practical experience and hands-on education to our students so that not only do they develop their craft as Musician but excel at Performance on the Stage Show. 

It is the Academy’s hands-on approach and the attention to the application of skills to performing in Studio or Stage show that make the Academy one among the best acting schools in the city.

Course Objectives:

• Develop fundamental skills in guitar playing, including proper hand positioning, chord formations, strumming patterns, and picking techniques.

•  Learn to read guitar tablature (tab) and standard notation, enabling students to play a variety of songs and musical pieces.

•  Explore a diverse repertoire of songs spanning various genres, including rock, pop, blues, folk, jazz, and classical music.

• Understand music theory concepts relevant to guitar playing, such as scales, modes, chord progressions, and improvisation.

•  Develop ear training skills to recognize and play melodies, chords, and rhythms by ear.

•  Gain proficiency in soloing and improvisation techniques, allowing students to express themselves creatively on the guitar.

Course Structure:

- Duration:  1 year, 2 years.

- Frequency of classes :  weekly 2 Classes

- Curriculum: The curriculum is structured to accommodate students of varying skill levels, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction available. Each level covers specific techniques, exercises, and repertoire tailored to the skill level of the students.

Admissions to the Guitar Course are open to individuals of all ages who have a passion for playing the guitar. No prior musical experience is required for beginner-level courses, but advanced courses may have prerequisites or require an assessment of the student's skill level.
