Introduction

Our Rabindra Sangeet Course is designed to introduce students to the rich and soulful world of Rabindra Sangeet, the musical compositions of the Nobel laureate poet, Rabindranath Tagore. Rabindra Sangeet is known for its poetic lyrics, melodic richness, and emotive depth, making it a cherished part of Bengali cultural heritage.
The Academy’s Rabindra Sangeet Course provides Singer with intensive training in performance, modern on- Studio Recording techniques, and supporting classes, which contribute to the creation of a Best performance.

Course Objectives:

• Familiarize students with the works of Rabindranath Tagore, including his songs, poems, and musical compositions.

• Develop proficiency in singing Rabindra Sangeet through proper understanding of melody, rhythm, and expression.

• Explore the nuances of Rabindra Sangeet repertoire, including various genres such as Puja songs, Baul songs, and Bhatiyali songs.

• Understand the literary and cultural context of Rabindra Sangeet, including its influence on Bengali literature and music.

• Cultivate performance skills through regular practice, individualized feedback, and opportunities to showcase talents in recitals and concerts.
